Available Positions

We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated Account Executive to grow and nurture client accounts and to prospect and close new business. As a primary liaison between MadeToOrder and its clients, the Account Executive will use their professional experience and industry knowledge to identify customer needs and offer creative branded merchandise solutions for those needs.

A successful Account Executive will be personable, highly motivated, and love working in a fast-paced environment. This person should be creative and take a solutions-oriented approach when working with clients. They should have sales experience within the promotional merchandise industry and be looking for a company that can support professional goals and growth.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison with the company’s customers, developing relationships and ensuring MTO is providing high-quality service, products, and exceeding client expectations.
  • Lead generation/opportunity seeker. Utilized all available resources to prospect for new business and turn them into happy customers.
  • Develop creative solutions for clients’ branded merchandise needs.
  • Deliver results by achieving short and long-term sales and profitability goals.
  • Be a contributing member of the MTO team.
  • Assist in developing strategy, presentation, and pitches for clients and their projects.
  • Continually monitor product trends, both within and outside of the industry.
  • Implement efficient use of all computer system applications as trained.

Requirements for Position

  • 3+ years of Sales/Account Executive or Business Development experience, preferably within the promotional products/branded merchandise industry.
  • Customer-centric, enthusiastic, and passionate.
  • Self-starter attitude with excellent organizational and time management skills and the proven ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously without compromising quality or accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and business opportunities through client development.
  • Positive and supportive attitude towards the Company, job, customers, and co-workers.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Highly creative and service obsessed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Position Overview

This position requires a highly organized and proactive individual who can effectively support an Account Executive or team and build strong working relationships with their Account Executive and clients.

The Account Manager is responsible for supporting an Account Executive in every aspect of their role, from building strong relationships with clients to proactively managing the sales pipeline, from supporting daily sales-related activities to coordinating marketing efforts to generate new and return business. The position keeps all of the trains running on time, makes sure everything is recorded and tracked, and uses creativity and a sense of urgency to exceed client expectations.

The Account Manager works closely with clients to understand their branding goals, marketing initiatives, event needs, employee engagement and promotional campaigns. They recommend creative promotional products that align with the client’s brand identity, audience, timeline and budget. This role acts as the main point of contact between clients, suppliers, decorators, and internal teams to ensure every order is executed accurately, on time and within budget.

This is a remote position located in the United States.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Support sales rep in building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships.

  • Provide timely, client-obsessed service that routinely exceeds expectations.
  • Maintain accurate CRM accounts with up-to-date contact information.
  • Assist sales rep in sending clients and partner suppliers thank you emails, cards and gifts as assigned.
  • Monitor budget for product samples and client recognition.

Support sales rep with daily sales-related activities.

  • Assist sales rep in developing ideas and sourcing products that meet client goals and budget.
  • Create presentations in Commonsku or CSR system.
  • Review presentations before they go to clients for accuracy, confirm profit margin.
  • Communicate with partner suppliers on pricing, product availability, lead time etc.
  • Facilitate orders, answering questions and securing purchase orders.
  • Enter detailed orders in Commonsku to be submitted to Customer Service Representative.
  • Build, launch and manage online stores for product fulfillment.
  • Proactively anticipate and troubleshooting issues.
  • Enter and manage sample request.

Proactively assist Account Executive in managing sales pipeline.

  • Use the Commonsku CRM system to track and proactively manage sales pipeline for Account Executive.
  • Lead daily and weekly huddles with Account Executive to prioritize and assign sales opportunities, partner supplier inquiries, proposal creation, and client feedback.
  • Execute assigned follow up with team, vendors, clients and prospects assigned.
  • Ensure Account Executive is on track with assigned. follow-up and assist as needed (review daily, divide and conquer).
  • Record accurate notes regarding client interactions in Commonsku system.
  • Plan and record next follow up steps and deadlines in Commonsku system, updating sales rep’s calendar daily.

Assisting Account Executive with marketing activities to generate new and return business.

  • Coordinate all details of marketing campaigns to generate new leads and/or return business.
  • Identify prospective clients and research appropriate contacts.
  • Proactively coordinate the creation, receipt and delivery of spec samples and virtuals.
  • Prepare personalized correspondence and mailer kits to prospects.
  • Record all prospects follow up steps in CRM system.
  • Participate in vendor meetings and research new product ideas.
  • Coordinates thank you cards and gifts for client referrals.

Other duties as assigned.

  • Miscellaneous shipping prep.
  • Coordinate logistics and fulfillment as needed.
  • Attend team meetings.
  • Attend supplier meetings.

Requirements for Position

  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
